Green buckwheat groats for germination

   Green buckwheat groats for sprouting is used in everyday nutrition, gluten-free and vegan diets, and raw foods. Sprouted buckwheat contains various vitamins, essential amino acids and valuable omega-3 fatty acids.   • proteins - 13 g;

Cooking method:
  • before germination rinse buckwheat grains in fine sieve and place them in container for germination;
  • add to the container for germination filtered or regular tap water at the rate of 1 part of buckwheat groats for 3 parts of water, cover the container with groats with a cloth and left for 6 hours;
  • wash off the mucus, with each rinse eventually the mucus completely disappears, then leave the groats with water for germination;
  • germinate buckwheat for 24-48 hours, during this time it is necessary to rinse it two or three times a day (for example: morning and evening), carefully draining the water. When the length of sprouts will achieve 3-4 mm they should be rinsedand drained. Sprouted buckwheat is ready to eat.
   Directions for consumption:
   Sprouted buckwheat can be consumed as ready-made product, crushed in blender and mixed with youghurt, eaten as granola, added to salads, soups and other dishes. It is recommended to consume no more than 30-50 grams of sprouted buckwheat per day. Sprouted grains are best stored in the refrigerator in a glass container.
